An armed security guard provides the service of protecting people, property and assets from the potential for harm, disruption or disturbance. Security guards can work alone or in cooperation with other security team members, depending on the scope of the assignment that needs to be handled. The guards wear uniforms that help them to be identified as security officials. Maintaining a Secure Watch
Armed security teams maintain their watch through direct patrols or by observation of alarm systems and video surveillance.
